Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction in Gloucester is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to manage the cleaning operation at a retail store. You will lead an in-store team of about 7, ensuring high cleaning standards and providing motivation and hands-on support.

The role starts at 4:00am, offers 36 hours per week, and is a permanent position with an early-morning shift. You will work five days a week, with Wednesday and Saturday off, and finish by 11:00am to enjoy the rest of the day.

Qualifications

• Proven cleaning or supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to lead a small in-store team and train others.
• Reliable, organised and able to start at 4am.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support an in-store team of around 7 people.
• Check cleaning standards and carry out quality inspections.
• Manage rotas, holidays and attendance.
• Support recruitment and training.
• Work with the store management team and help with cleaning when required.
• Ensure equipment and products are used correctly.
• Address issues and take corrective actions quickly.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and company procedures.
