Job summary

OCS is seeking a Supervisor for cleaning operations in Nottingham. You will lead a small team, manage rotas, holidays, and performance, and deliver training to cleaning operatives while keeping records up to date.

You will conduct weekly cleaning audits and address areas of concern, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong communication, right to work in the UK, and willingness to work at height.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Background in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing a small team, including rotas, holidays, and performance; delivering training to cleaning operatives and ensuring records are updated.
• Conduct weekly cleaning audits and escalate any areas of concern.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Role may require use of heavy industrial equipment and working at heights.
