Job summary

OCS is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team, manage rotas and performance, and train staff while ensuring accurate records. You will perform weekly audits, uphold high cleanliness standards, and follow safety protocols in a secure environment.

The role may involve heavy equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights, with opportunities to develop skills in cleaning operations and facilities management.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Background in cleaning/food manufacturing is advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team, oversee rotas, holidays and performance, and train operatives with up-to-date records.
• Conduct weekly cleaning audits and escalate areas of concern for action.
• Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across sites.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• This role may involve heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
