Zusammenfassung

Sodexo is seeking a reliable Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 11:00–19:00. You will maintain high cleanliness standards, manage staffing, rotas and budgets, and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

This role requires supervisory experience in the service industry, good problem-solving skills, and knowledge of health and safety and COSHH.

Qualifikationen

• Must have supervisory experience in the service industry.
• Good knowledge of health and safety and COSHH.
• IOSH qualification is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organise and oversee cleaning and housekeeping activities to high standards.
• Manage staffing, rotas, labour costs, stock and budgets for efficiency.
• Monitor health and safety standards and equipment maintenance.
• Lead and develop the cleaning team through briefings and training.
• Build strong client and colleague relationships for smooth operations.
• Visit Reading ARC weekly to deliver mandatory training and oversee operations.

At Sodexo, we’re looking for a reliable andmotivated Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team on a full-time basis,Monday to Friday. You’llplay an important role in supporting the team, maintaining high standards ofcleanliness and ensuring our clients, customers and colleagues enjoy a clean,safe and welcoming environment. If you have strong organisational skills, apositive attitude and enjoy leading by example, we’d love to hear from you! What you’ll do:

• Plan, organise and oversee all cleaning and housekeeping activities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and service are maintained in line with contractual requirements.
• Manage staffing, rotas, labour costs, stock ordering and budgets to support operational efficiency and site performance.
• Monitor health and safety standards, ensure company equipment is maintained, and report any faults or concerns to management.
• Lead, support and develop the cleaning team through regular briefings, meetings, training and performance reviews.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, customers and colleagues, working with other department managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Visit Reading ARC weekly to deliver mandatory training, provide equipment and oversee operations, while continuing to develop your own skills and knowledge.
  Experience in a similar supervisory role within the service industry.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources effectively.
• Experience working to standards and compliance requirements, with a good knowledge of health and safety and COSHH.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Good communication, leadership and team management skills, with experience managing client relationships.
• Cleaning qualifications, IOSH, knowledge of quality standards, or experience in a military environment would be an advantage.

• £13.46 per hour
