Job summary

Sodexo in Bellshill is seeking a reliable Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and guests. You’ll perform a range of cleaning duties as directed by the Line Manager, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service.

Flexible shift patterns and a 14.5-hour week are available. A clean, professional appearance and strong organisation are essential to deliver consistent results across all areas.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
• Methodical and organised approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleaning standards across all allocated areas, completing daily, weekly and periodic tasks efficiently and on time.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely, following COSHH guidelines and only using equipment after appropriate training.
• Maintain a safe working environment by using appropriate safety signage and promptly reporting hazards, faulty equipment, accidents and other incidents.
• Keep cleaning stores and equipment clean, tidy and secure, ensuring supplies are monitored and low stock levels are reported.
• Maintain professional standards of personal hygiene and appearance, attend required training and meetings, provide cover when needed, and respond to reasonable management requests.
