Job summary

Universities by Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative at the University of Greenwich, Chatham Campus. You will ensure the site's appearance daily, providing hygienic, safe surroundings and supporting operations in the morning shift.

This fixed-term, part-time role is 12.5 hours per week with a 6am–8:30am pattern. If you take pride in attention to detail and teamwork, you will help maintain high cleaning standards while supporting a welcoming campus environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and adapt when circumstances change.
• Team player who can follow instructions and work to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Pay close attention to details and complete tasks on the scheduled list.
• Ensure common areas, kitchens and restrooms are spotless.
• Restock essentials such as hand gels and toilet paper.
