Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cleaner to join our team at a corporate site in the UK. You will perform a range of daily cleaning duties across kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets and offices, ensuring high standards and compliance with safety policies.

We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Training including first aid and security awareness is provided, with BPSS checks required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate office setting is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to follow infection control and COSHH procedures.
• Willingness to undergo BPSS security checks and training.
• Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in work.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets, offices and other designated areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and replenish stock and consumables.
• Follow Sodexo policies relating to infection control, security and COSHH, including training.
• Work safely at all times by wearing PPE and reporting hazards or faulty equipment.
• Take responsibility for allocated areas and provide holiday/absence cover as required.

You'llplay an important role in keeping our facilities clean, safe and welcoming,ensuring high standards are maintained across the site. You'll work as part ofa team, helping with a variety of day-to-day cleaning duties. Ifyou're reliable, hardworking and take pride in your work, we'd love to hearfrom you. • Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets, offices and other designated areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and replenish stock and consumables as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures relating to infection control, security and COSHH, including completing relevant training.
• Work safely at all times by wearing the required PPE and following Sodexo processes, reporting hazards, faulty equipment and other concerns to your line manager.
• Take responsibility for allocated cleaning areas while remaining flexible to support other floors and provide holiday and absence cover as required.
  Experience in a similar role within a corporate office environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, use own initiative and contribute effectively within a team.
• Good attention to detail, adherence to standards and understanding of data protection regulations.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training, including first aid and security awareness, and successfully complete the required BPSS security checks.
  12.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• 15:30 - 18:00
• £12.71 per hour
