Job summary

Kindred is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for an educational building in Luton, working Mon-Fri 16:00–19:00 at £13.21 per hour. You will lead the cleaning team on site and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety across client premises.

This role requires previous cleaning or supervisory experience, the ability to implement schedules, manage stock of supplies, and train staff. You must be able to commute to the site and commit to fixed hours, with English language proficiency.

Pay rate: £13.21 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 16:00-19:00

As a key leader in our on-site operations, you will:

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.


• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards.


• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources.


• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow.


• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.


• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.


• Can reliably commute to the site location.


• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.


• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.


• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.


• Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.

Desired Criteria

• Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).


• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.


• Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management.


• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
