Job summary

Kindred are looking for hardworking cleaners to be based in an educational building in Woking, Surrey. The role offers £12.71 per hour with a Monday to Friday, 16:00-20:00 schedule.

A DBS check is required for successful candidates, who will perform general and deep cleaning tasks while maintaining health and safety standards. The position involves cleaning surfaces, waste disposal, restocking supplies, and following COSHH regulations, with opportunities to support colleagues and meet quality

About The Role

Responsibilities

General Cleaning Tasks:

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

Specialist & Deep Cleaning:

• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).
• Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.
• Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
