Job summary

Kindred seeks hardworking cleaners for an educational building in Rugeley. The role runs Monday to Friday, 16:00-18:00, with a DBS check required. Pay is £12.71 per hour, and the position is on-site in an educational setting.

You will perform general cleaning tasks, including deep-cleaning tasks and maintaining hygiene standards according to COSHH. The role emphasizes working independently while supporting team members as needed.

• Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

About The Role

Responsibilities

General Cleaning Tasks

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

Specialist & Deep Cleaning

• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).
• Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.
• Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
