OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a school cleaning supervisor for Monday to Friday, 4pm–7pm. You will lead a small team, manage rotas, holidays and training, and ensure high cleanliness standards in our school environment.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS, which OCS will support and fund. You will conduct weekly cleaning audits, follow safety protocols, and may work with heavy equipment and at heights.

Formación

• Experience leading cleaning teams.
• Experience in school or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in the evenings and on-site.

About The Role:

This role is for a school cleaning supervisor working Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm. The applicant will need to apply for an Enhanced DBS, this application will be supported and funded by OCS.

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
