OCS is seeking a Supervisor for cleaning operations in Nottingham. You will lead a small team, manage rotas, holidays, and performance, and deliver training to cleaning operatives while keeping records up to date.

You will conduct weekly cleaning audits and address areas of concern, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong communication, right to work in the UK, and willingness to work at height.

About The Role:

Days of Working: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
