Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join Healthcare on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week across 5 days.

You will lead the housekeeping team to deliver 5-star cleaning standards, train staff, supervise operations, manage stock and assist with labour planning while maintaining safety and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Have experience in a similar role.
• Have experience supervising or leading a team.
• Know Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have experience of quality checks and audits.
• Be IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Making sure 5-star cleaning standards are delivered every day.
• Supervising, training and supporting the team so they work safely and well.
• Being the day-to-day client contact and keeping basic reports.
• Managing stock, including linen and consumables.
• Helping to manage labour, equipment and resources.
• Promoting a safety culture and following company and client Health & Safety procedures.

About The Role

We're currently recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to join Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.

You’ll lead our housekeeping team, setting high standards, training and supporting your team, and keeping every space spotless.

What You’ll Do

• Making sure 5-star cleaning standards are delivered every day
• Supervising, training and supporting the team so they work safely and well
• Being the day-to-day client contact and keeping basic reports
• Managing stock, including linen and consumables
• Helping to manage labour, equipment and resources
• Promoting a safety culture and following company and client Health & Safety procedures
