Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a part‑time Cleaner to join Healthcare in London. The role is 20 hours per week, 3 days out of 7, with duties across patient and staff areas to keep spaces clean, safe and welcoming.

You’ll dust, sweep, mop and vacuum, sanitise surfaces and touchpoints, restock materials and support teams to maintain high standards of hygiene in NHS trusts and private hospitals.

Qualifications

• OrganiSational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Hands-on role with a flexible approach to shifts.
• Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed, including spillages.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

About The Role

We're currently recruiting a Cleaner to join Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week, working 3 days out of 7.

You’ll keep our spaces clean, safe and welcoming, making a real difference to everyone who works in or visits them.

What You’ll Do

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
