Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor at Cannock Campus to lead the cleaning team, uphold a safe and secure environment for learners, and ensure day-to-day maintenance meets high standards. Working hours are 06:00am–09:00am and 12:00pm–3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties include maintaining cleanliness across College areas and meeting Service Level Standards; safeguarding training is mandatory, and the College supports staff with holiday entitlement and pension

Job description

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, as this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

An opportunity has arisen at Cannock Campus for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.

The Estates Department at South Staffordshire College require a Part Time Cleaning Supervisor to join their cleaning team to carry out supervisor duties within Cannock campus:

Working Hours

The successful candidate will work the following split-shift pattern:

Monday to Friday

06:00am - 09:00am and 12:00pm - 3:00pm

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
