Job description

To conform to the cleaning specifications and schedules, and to carry out cleaning duties as required, with a view to continuously developing and improving quality standards.

Key duties:

1. To carry out window cleaning inline with the correct specifications and health and safety standards.
2. Update supervisor of any changes on site.
3. Liaise with supervisor/line manager to review sites and work on the Jobber allocation system.
4. Be punctual and attend for duty as scheduled.
5. Achieve the highest standard of work with a positive team spirit.
6. Continuously develop and improve quality standards.
7. Meet managers, clients, and company expectations.
8. Respond to any reasonable requests of the company or client.
9. Ensure that products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored.
10. Use your initiative to resolve problems where appropriate.
11. Ensure your appearance and conduct meet the company's expectations, and always wear the appropriate clothing/PPE.
12. Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues.

Knowledge and Experience:

Experience

The job holder should have experience in cleaning.

Must use tact and diplomacy when dealing with client personnel and visitors to gain cooperation.

Responsible for checking the quality of their work and supervising less experienced staff when required.

• Responsible for the care of tools and equipment used, whether belonging to the client or Pareto.
• Maintain confidentiality on all matters related to Pareto and the client.

Primarily oral and written, mostly internal with the site manager and client’s staff. Occasionally liaising with contractors, visitors, inspectors, and governing bodies.

Liaison

Interactions can affect the client’s image and operational efficiency. The post holder must liaise professionally with all parties.

Decisions are made daily based on experience, specifications, and discussions with relevant parties. Work priorities may change as needed.
