Primarily oral and written, mostly internal with the site manager and client’s staff. Occasionally liaising with contractors, visitors, inspectors, and governing bodies.
Interactions can affect the client’s image and operational efficiency. The post holder must liaise professionally with all parties.
Decisions are made daily based on experience, specifications, and discussions with relevant parties. Work priorities may change as needed.
Tasks often require independent problem solving, with occasional assistance from the Site Manager or client contacts for complex issues.
High levels of concentration are required, especially when working with machinery and following health and safety guidelines.
The role involves a variety of activities, with interruptions from internal sources. Tasks outside the usual duties may be assigned.
The job involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring the assessment of personal risks related to machinery, noise, and pollution.
