A leading facilities management company is seeking a dedicated cleaner to uphold high cleaning standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The role involves window cleaning, supervising staff, and communicating effectively with clients and supervisors. Candidates should have prior cleaning experience and the ability to solve problems independently.
To conform to the cleaning specification and schedules and carry out cleaning duties as required, with a view to continuously develop and improve quality standards.

The job holder will be required to have experience within cleaning.
When dealing with client personnel and at all levels, the job holder must use tact and diplomacy to gain cooperation from client personnel and visitors.
The job holder is responsible for checking the quality of their work and supervising less experienced staff when required.
- The job holder is responsible for the care of tools, completing appropriate maintenance, whether the property belongs to the client or Pareto.
- Confidentiality is required on all matters related to Pareto and the client.
Communication is oral/written, mostly internal with the site manager and client’s staff. It is generally straightforward. The job holder will liaise with contractors and visitors as needed.
The job holder’s dealings with visitors and the media can affect the client’s image. They also liaise with inspectors and governing bodies visiting the site.
The job holder decides how to tackle allocated work, sometimes with specifications, and may need to adjust priorities. Routine decisions are made daily based on experience, initiative, or discussions with the client’s contact.
Tasks often involve original thought, especially when solving technical problems independently or with help from the Site Manager or client for unusual issues.
A high level of alertness is required, especially when working with machinery and adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
The role covers a wide range of activities with variable interruptions, requiring responsiveness to immediate needs or handling tasks outside of usual duties.
The job involves working outdoors in adverse weather, with responsibilities to assess personal risks, noise, and pollution risks associated with the environment and machinery.
