Job summary

Mount Charles Group is seeking an experienced Cleaning Operative to join the team at Radius Shankill, Belfast. You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing your area to the required standard, following COSHH guidelines and using cleaning equipment correctly after training.

We offer 9 hours per week across 3 days (Monday–Friday) with 3-hour shifts from 08:30 to 17:00, plus benefits such as paid holidays, pension, and ongoing training. Applicants should be customer-focused and live locally.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products.
• Customer-focused with good eye for detail.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas to required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely following COSHH guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment as trained and directed by the Line Manager.
• Report faulty equipment immediately and tag as faulty.
• Maintain safety signage and keep cleaning stores tidy and properly stored.
