Job summary

PSS Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative to support on-site cleaning at Bentley Bridge Retail Park, Wolverhampton. The role covers 9 hours per week on a permanent basis, with overtime possible to cover sickness or holidays.

Full training is provided, no prior experience required beyond reliability and a professional approach. You will follow site schedules, maintain hygiene standards, and report hazards promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred but full training is provided.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends if required.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and be professional.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning according to specifications and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Clean designated areas as scheduled by Manager or Supervisor.
• Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and stocked at all times.
• Report hazards or problems to Manager/Supervisor.
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored properly.

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly
