PSS Group is seeking an on-site Cleaning Operative for Ipswich, covering AM/PM shifts with potential weekend work. The role pays £13.00 per hour and requires flexibility, reliability and a good standard of presentation. Full training provided with overtime and holiday cover as needed.

Responsabilités

• Deliver on-site cleaning to required specifications.
• Clean areas according to schedule and supervisor instructions.
• Attend urgent cleaning and spills as needed.
• Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and stocked.
• Report hazards to manager or supervisor.
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored properly.

• Must be flexible and willing to cover holidays and sickness at site - will involve AM/PM and weekend work - possibly overnight if required

PSS group are a nationwide Soft Facilities Services provider, who work with some of the biggest names in retail, entertainment, facilities management and more.

Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor.
• Attend to all urgent cleaning and spills when required.
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

Ideal Candidate:

• Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & Holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Polite and professional.
• Willingness to learn.
• Flexible and reliable willing to do overtime & weekends if required.
• Experience preferred but full training provided.
• Good self-presentation (uniform provided).
