Job summary

PSS Group in Doncaster is seeking a Cleaning Operative for an evening shift. You will work on-site, 5pm–7pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 10 hours per week, performing cleaning duties to defined standards. Training is provided and uniform is supplied.

The role requires reliability, a professional demeanor, and flexibility to cover overtime or weekends if required. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Willing to cover overtime to support sickness & holidays.
• Experience preferred, but full training provided.
• Good self-presentation; uniform provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site cleaning to specified standards within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Clean dedicated areas per schedule and supervisor instructions.
• Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and stocked.
• Report hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor.
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.

• Monday to Friday: 5pm-7pm
• 10 hours per week
• £12.71 per hr

Cleaning Operative Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver on-site cleaning specifications and standards within Health and Safety guidelines
• Clean specific areas of the site according to the schedule and specification as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• Ensure cleaning cupboards are always kept tidy and stocked.
• Report any identified hazards or problems to the Manager / Supervisor
• Provide clear and detailed handovers to your work colleagues
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly

Ideal Candidate:

• Willing to support with overtime to cover staff sickness & Holidays
• Ability to follow instructions
• Polite and professional
• Willingness to learn
• Flexible and reliable willing to do overtime & weekends if required
