Job summary

Join Sodexo as a Factory Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough, where you’ll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across the GMP manufacturing area.

Working to GMP and site procedures, you’ll ensure a clean, safe and compliant factory. Training is provided to build confidence with procedures, equipment and responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work to strict timelines and follow detailed procedures.
• Willingness to work in isolated areas where required.
• Ability to follow stringent GMP dress codes and PPE requirements.
• A strong team-player mentality and can-do attitude.
• A proactive and intuitive approach.

• The ability to work towards and achieve set targets.
• A willingness to learn and complete all required training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across allocated areas.
• Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Complete cleaning checklists and ensure they are signed off.
• Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Report any equipment faults or defects to your Supervisor.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety requirements.
• Report hazards or potential risks to your Supervisor.
• Follow site procedures and stringent GMP requirements.
• Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers.
• Communicate regularly with other members of the cleaning team and site colleagues.
• Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills.
• Support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team with a proactive, can-do approach.
• Wear the required PPE and follow all relevant working instructions.
• Work towards agreed targets and maintain required standards.
• Comply with company, client and statutory requirements.

Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and site procedures, you'll play an important role in ensuring the factory environment remains clean, safe and compliant.

You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a strong can-do attitude. Full training will be provided to make sure you're confident with the procedures, equipment and responsibilities of the role.

What you'll do
