Job summary

ABM is seeking a cleaning operative in Dundee to perform office and facility cleaning tasks with attention to detail. The role is 20 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days, with a pay rate of 13.45 per hour. Training will be provided for floor care and equipment use.

Applicants should be punctual, reliable and able to pass background checks as part of site vetting. ABM supplies the uniform and supports a team environment with diverse safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and workstations (including IT equipment).
• Buff and scrub hard floors; training provided.
• Vacuum, dust, and remove waste.
• Clean kitchens and vending areas; maintain toilets.
• Carpet cleaning as required; operate buffing machines.
• Handle high-touch cleaning and fogging where needed.
• Work well in a team or independently.

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 out of 7, 20 hours per week

PAY RATE: 13.45 per hour

Experienced cleaning operative with great attention to detail required. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor and or Line Manage

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Office Cleaning / Work station cleaning (IT equipment)
• Hard floor Cleaning (Use of Buffing machine / Scrubber Dryer) Training given
• Vacuuming / Dusting / Waste removal
• Kitchen / Vending area Cleaning
• Toilet cleaning
• Machine Carpet cleaning
• High Touch Point Cleaning & Fogging
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Smart Clean Appearance
• Can work as part of a team as well as working alone
• Being able to use a buffing machine is an advantage (not essential as training will be given)
• A proactive/can do attitude to work.

ESSENTIAL:

• Candidates must be punctual, trustworthy and have a good eye for detail.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
