Job summary

ABM is seeking experienced cleaning operatives for a fixed-term contract in London. The role covers office cleaning, floor and washroom duties, kitchen areas and general upkeep. Uniform is provided and training is given.

Applicants must be punctual, detail-minded, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Background checks including criminal/credit checks are required. The recruitment process may require evidence of six years of address history.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Smart clean appearance and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team or alone.
• Buffing machine experience is beneficial, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Office cleaning and workstation cleaning (IT equipment).
• Hard floor cleaning with buffing machine/scrubber dryer (training provided).
• Vacuuming, dusting and waste removal.
• Kitchen and vending area cleaning.
• Washroom/toilet cleaning.

Location: SALESFORCE, London, EC2N 4AY

Shift pattern: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Fixed term contract)

Pay rate: £14.80 per hour

Experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to details required. ABM uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times. To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Cleaning Manager and Supervisor

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Office Cleaning / Work station cleaning (IT equipment)
• Hard floor Cleaning (Use of Buffing machine / Scrubber Dryer) Training given
• Vacuuming / Dusting / Waste removal
• Kitchen / Vending area Cleaning
• Washroom /Toilet cleaning
• Machine Carpet cleaning
• Touch Point Cleaning
• Cleaning crockery

Person Specification:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Smart Clean Appearance
• Can work as part of a team as well as working alone
• Being able to use a buffing machine an advantage (not essential as training will be given) • A proactive/can do attitude to work.

• Candidates must be punctual, trustworthy and have a good eye for detail.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• As part of the recruitment vetting process for our client site all successful candidates will be required to complete a background verification and undergo security checks, including criminal/credit checks prior to start date. You will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility & all applicants will need to have 6 years checkable accommodation addresses (This process will be explained in more detail at interview stage).
