Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a cleaner to join our FM segment and to be based at the UK Atomics Energy Offices in Rotherham. Working 15 Hours per week. Monday - Friday - 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Pay: £12.71 per Hour.

Experience in cleaning is desired but not essential, with duties including cleaning to specification, maintaining floors and toilets, disposing of waste and reporting maintenance needs. A health and safety focused role with an enhanced family-friendly benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning in accord with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste.
• Clean and maintain waste bins.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
