Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our FM segment and to be based out Adanac Park in Southampton. Monday to Friday – Hours to be confirmed.

Responsibilities include cleaning to the specification, maintaining floors, toilets and waste, refilling consumables, reporting faults, and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean to the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and woodwork.
• Clean toilets and changing areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste.
• Maintain waste bins and replenish consumables.
• Report faulty equipment or other maintenance needs.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off.
• Promote and ensure health and safety of staff and visitors.
• Comply with COSHH procedures.

Making Possible

• Cleaning in accord with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste.
• Clean and maintain waste bins.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
