Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland are recruiting a cleaner to join our FM segment of the business and to be based out of the Wallyford Learning Campus. Working 30 hours per week, 3.30pm - 10.00pm Monday - Friday. Pay: £13.53 Per Hour.

A DBS will be required for this role. The enhanced family friendly package includes men’s and women’s health, fertility support, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave, foster leave, menopause support, carer leave, surrogacy and adoption support.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning in accord with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste.
• Clean and maintain waste bins.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
