Job summary

Sandgate School is seeking a reliable cleaner for a 10-hour-per-week role. You will work Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–5:30pm, across school sites and during holidays to maintain a clean and safe environment for students.

Training and mentoring will be provided; relevant DBS and Barred List checks, along with references, are required to ensure safeguarding. A professional attitude and attention to detail are essential in this year-round post.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but training and mentoring will be given.
• Reliable and hardworking with a keen eye for detail.
• Able to undertake all cleaning duties with a professional attitude and awareness that students may be on site.
• Flexibility to work across either school sites and during school holidays.
• Safeguarding commitment; DBS and Barred List checks and references required.

• Carry out cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean school environment.
• Work across one or both Sandgate School sites.
• Be flexible to work during school holidays as needed.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and demonstrate professional conduct on site.

Working schedule is usually:

• Monday to Friday
• 3.30pm-5.30pm
• 10 hours per week (occasional overtime hours may be necessary at times)
• This is a year round role as the team do clean the site during school holidays
