Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Cleaner for a three-month contract at a busy secondary school in the UK. You will perform daily cleaning across classrooms, toilets, corridors, offices and communal areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene for staff and students.

The role requires a DBS check, right to work in the UK, and the ability to work 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 15:00-18:00) at Christ Church Academy.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is required.
• Experience in a school environment is desirable.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual behaviour is essential.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms and teaching areas.

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Dust and sanitize surfaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain hygiene standards throughout the school.
• Clean communal areas, offices and staff facilities.

• Follow Health & Safety procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Ensure all areas are clean, safe and presentable.
