Nirvana Managed Services seeks a dependable cleaner to uphold hygiene in a school facility under our supervision. The role aims to create a secure, sanitary, and inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors.

You will work term time (39 weeks per year) with shifts 16:00–19:00, Monday to Friday. Prior cleaning experience preferred; ability to work autonomously, attention to detail, good communication, and willingness to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience preferred.
• Physical endurance for manual tasks.
• Attention to detail in cleaning duties.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to cover after-school or term-time shifts.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Thoroughly clean and disinfect designated zones within the school.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment regularly.
• Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate methods.
• Remove waste and recycling with correct disposal practices.
• Replenish cleaning materials and supplies as required.
• Notify management of maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow health, safety and cleaning procedures at all times.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with staff and students.

• Dust all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment on a regular basis.
• Utilize proper methods and tools to vacuum and mop flooring.
• Remove waste and recycling from bins, ensuring correct disposal and separation protocols are followed.
• Replenish cleaning materials, toiletries, and other necessary supplies as required.
• Promptly notify management of any maintenance concerns, safety risks, or equipment failures.
• Strictly comply with all safety guidelines, health regulations, and established cleaning procedures.
