Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative for Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Leeds. This permanent, part-time role offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 15:30–19:30, at LS11 8DT. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service, supporting a safe and hygienic environment on site.

The role requires general cleaning across designated areas, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and teamwork within the site. On-site parking, Sodexo discounts and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach to your work.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow cleaning, health and safety procedures.
• Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties across designated areas of the site.
• Clean floors, surfaces, washrooms and communal areas to required standards.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely in line with procedures.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene requirements at all times.
• Report any maintenance, safety or cleaning concerns to your manager.
• Work as part of the wider site team to maintain consistently high standards.

About the role

As a Cleaning Operative with Sodexo at Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Leeds, you’ll deliver a high-quality cleaning service and help create a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for everyone on site.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, taking pride in maintaining excellent standards throughout your working areas. This is a permanent part-time position, working Monday to Friday from 15:30 to 19:30.
