Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative for the Johnson Matthey site in Royston. The role involves cleaning offices, laboratories, welfare facilities, toilets, showers and communal areas to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.

The position is permanent yet part-time, with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00am to 2:00pm, totaling 14 hours per week, at £15.05 per hour. Training, PPE and safety procedures are provided to support high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning across offices, laboratories, welfare facilities and communal areas.

• Ensure cleaning equipment, supplies and storage areas are well maintained and fully stocked.
• Provide professional customer service and support team cover when required.
• Wear appropriate PPE, complete required records and participate in training and development activities.
