A leading facilities management company is seeking a Cleaning Operative to maintain cleanliness and safety at the University of Sussex. This part-time role involves working within a team to deliver excellent service and requires a flexible, reliable, and professional attitude. Training will be provided, and the role offers various benefits including holiday entitlement and pension contributions.
Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Salary: £13,000 to £13,104 per annum
Hours: 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday between 6am to 10am or 6pm to 10pm
Contract: Permanent

As a Cleaning Operative, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs. You will build your knowledge of the cleaning area, work schedules, and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used, following Health and Safety requirements. Training will be provided to deliver the cleaning role effectively. You will work within a team and also use your initiative, building positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent service, and seeking continuous improvement.
