• Job Title: External Cleaning Operative
• Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
• Contract: Permanent
• Type of Employment: Part Time
• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Location: BAE Systems, Airport Works, Marconi Way, Rochester, Kent, England, ME1 2XX
• Requirement: Full UK Driving License (involving heavy lifting and all weather conditions)

Role Responsibilities

As an External Cleaning Operative, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs. You will build knowledge of the designated cleaning area, understand when work needs to be carried out, and use all cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following Health and Safety requirements. Training will be provided to enable you to perform your duties effectively. You will work within a team and also use your initiative. Building positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent service, and seeking continuous improvement are key aspects of the role.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
