Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to lead the on-site cleaning team at Manchester Arndale. You will oversee all cleaning duties, supervise staff rotas, training, and site audits, while ensuring HR compliance and customer service excellence.

The role includes handling investigations into incidents and managing stock and budgets. Candidates should have prior managerial or supervisory experience in cleaning, be eligible to work in the UK, and be able to work flexible hours Mon–Sat

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training and HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt working hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruitment.
• Identify training needs and conduct on-site training; keep records.
• Involvement in investigations for accidents or disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning products, stock levels and on-site budgets.
