Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations, ensuring health and safety compliance and reporting to the Site Manager. You will be the primary contact for clients and OCS management, managing staff, resources and delivering performance reports.

The role requires strong people management, HR experience, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. A BICS qualification is preferred and eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

• Experience in a similar role, BICS qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contract operates within health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Serve as first point of contact for client and OCS management.
• Collaborate with client representatives to address requirements.
• Organise staff rotas and complete wage/admin paperwork.
• Manage equipment, materials and stock levels.
• Assist in staff training and development.
• Provide regular reports on operational performance to management.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Implement and monitor cleaning schedules for comprehensive coverage.
• Address operational issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Oversee recruitment, training and performance evaluations.
• Handle HR responsibilities including employee relations and compliance.
