Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Cardiff is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our warehouse cleaning and waste team. You will perform general cleaning, tidying, and waste disposal, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products, while keeping all areas spotless and safe.

Shift is 10pm to 6am, 4 on 4 off, paid £13.88 per hour. No experience required as full training provided; Basic Disclosure check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all warehouse areas including washrooms and canteens.
• Use cleaning equipment and products.
• Ensure equipment is clean and safe; respond to client call-outs.
• Manage waste disposal.

Job description

Salary: £13.88 / hour

Hours: 8 hours/ day

Shift Pattern: 10pm to 6am, 4 on /4 off

Contract: Fixed Term

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties will include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens. You'll use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products. You will ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You'll need to react quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (all training will be provided). You will manage waste disposal.
