Job summary

Norse Group LTD, via Norse Cleaning Division, is seeking a part-time Cleaner to work at Wayland Academy in Watton. The role is 15 hours per week, with shifts Monday and Friday 14:45-17:45 and Tuesday to Thursday 15:45-18:45.

You will carry out basic cleaning tasks, maintain designated areas, and build positive on-site relationships with the client while adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting issues as required.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to perform cleaning tasks in a school or similar environment.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety policies.
• Good communication and ability to work with clients on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas (mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, bin emptying).
• Build positive on-site relationships with the client.
• Carry out routine checks and follow health and safety at all times.
• Report issues or defects on site.

Cleaner - Wayland Academy

£12.71 per hour

15 Hours per week

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship withWayland Academy and we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis, you'll be required to work 15 hours per week,Monday and Friday 14:45-17:45, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 15:45-18:45.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any issues or defects on site

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable
