Job summary

Norse Cleaning Division is seeking a part-time Cleaner for Hillcrest Primary School in Downham Market. The role covers basic cleaning tasks such as mopping, hoovering, wiping surfaces and waste handling, with a fixed 3:30pm–4:30pm schedule, Monday to Friday (5 hours per week).

We value independent, reliable workers who can follow health and safety guidelines, build on-site relationships and report issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills for on-site relationships.

Cleaner - Hillcrest Primary School

£12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday 3.30pm till 4.30pm 5 hours per week

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site.
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
• Reporting any issues or defects on site.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable.
