Job summary

The Wallich is seeking a part-time Cleaner/Caretaker to support a busy housing maintenance team across Wallich properties in Wales.

You will help minimise void periods, coordinate cleaning and upkeep, and undertake painting, decorating and light maintenance. A Basic DBS disclosure is required and a valid driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential.

The role is fixed term for 12 months, 20 hours per week, with days to be discussed on appointment.

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months

Pro Rata'd Salary:£14,041.79

Purpose of Role

The Cleaner/Caretaker will support the Service manager and Housing Maintenance Officer in minimising void periods and ensuring a high standard of cleaning and maintenance across Wallich properties. They will coordinate timely cleaning and upkeep to reduce the time between a resident moving out and a new tenant moving in, maintaining accommodation to an acceptable standard. This will include painting, decorating and a basic level of DIY skills for property maintenance. An understanding of risk assessments and completing basic forms will be required

This role is subject to a Basic DBS disclosure.

Please note: Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role
