Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking an enthusiastic cleaner to join our team and uphold high standards of cleanliness across designated areas. The role is permanent and part-time at 11.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:05pm to 5:20pm, with eligibility for the Local Government Pension Scheme and access to CPD and staff benefits.

A DBS check is required as part of safeguarding commitments.

• Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.
• Emptying litter and recycling bins and removing waste to designated areas.
• Cleaning toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated.

About this Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of dedicated cleaners who to do the very best for the school and the students within it, undertaking cleaning tasks to a high standard.

Key duties will include:

• Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.
• Emptying litter and recycling bins, etc, and removing waste to designated areas.
• Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated.

This is a permanent, part-time role working for 11.5 hours per week on a 40 week contract working Monday to Friday 3.05pm to 5.20pm.
