Job summary

Dorset Council is seeking a Cleaner to work across our school, nursery and afterschool club on a fixed-term contract for 1 year. This role is Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week) term-time plus 15 hours during school holidays.

You will clean classrooms, hallways and common areas, sanitize bathrooms, empty bins, dust surfaces, mop and vacuum floors, clean windows and report any safety issues to keep the school environment safe for children.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred but not required.

Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week) term-time including inset days, plus 15 hours during the school holidays across the year.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and capable, with a positive approach to their work. Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
