Job summary

Watling Primary School in Milton Keynes is seeking a reliable Cleaner for afternoons to join our friendly site team. You will clean classrooms, corridors and washrooms, Hoover, sweep and mop floors, wipe surfaces and touchpoints, empty bins and replenish supplies across areas of the school.

Start ASAP during term time with 3 weeks additional time. 15 hours weekly, 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday; supports a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, communal areas and washroom facilities.
• Hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning surfaces and touchpoints; emptying bins.
• Replenishing essential supplies.
• Reporting maintenance issues and hazards; following health and safety procedures.

Salary - £24,796 FTE*

Actual Salary - £9,085 p.a.*

The Role

Watling Primary school looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our friendly site team.

You will play an important role in keeping our school clean, safe and welcoming for our children, staff and visitors. Working across different areas of the school, your duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors, communal areas and washroom facilities; hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors; cleaning surfaces and touchpoints; emptying bins; and replenishing essential supplies.

You will also help us to keep the school safe and secure by reporting any maintenance issues or hazards, following health and safety procedures and ensuring rooms are left secure after cleaning.
