Job summary

The Willows Primary School in Manchester is seeking a part-time Cleaner to provide effective cleaning services across the school.

You will vacuum, sweep and wash floors and surfaces, including cloakrooms and toilets, and you will also clean desks, doors and windows.

The role requires previous cleaning experience, ideally in an educational setting, good organisation, strong communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure. DBS clearance is required.

Position Details

Position: Cleaner

Location: The Willows Primary School, Tayfield Rd, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 1BQ

Contract: Part-time, Permanent

Working Pattern: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, All-Year Round. During school holidays, hours will be as directed by the site manager, between 08.00 and16.00.

Salary Details: Grade 1 Point 2, £24,413 per annum

Actual Salary: Grade 1 Point 2 , £17,238 per annum

Closing Date: 9:00am on Friday 18th September 2026

Interviewing date : Wednesday 23rd September 2026

Proposed Start Date: 1st October 2026 (Subject to DBS clearance)

About the role

We require a cleaner to provide effective cleaning services within the school.
