Job summary

Flying High Partnership is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly team at Whipman Woods Primary in Worksop.

You will clean classrooms, corridors, kitchens and toilets to high standards, follow safety rules, report faults and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children and staff.

We provide training, a supportive culture across the trust, and opportunities for professional development as part of a warm, inclusive school community.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake cleaning of classrooms, corridors, kitchens and toilets to required standards.
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Check faults and report them to the Site Manager with details.
  • Participate in staff training and follow Health and Safety policies.
  • Perform any other duties related to the section as required.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Cleaner to join our existing, fabulous team.

Key Responsibilities
  • You'll undertake a full range of cleaning tasks to the required standards including: cleaning of classrooms, corridors, kitchen and toilet areas, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, floor buffing, emptying and cleaning of waste receptacles.
  • You'll use equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently and in accordance with safe working practices to carry out your duties.
  • You'll check and report any faults with equipment, machinery or the building itself, to the Site Manager describing fully the nature of the faults.
  • You'll participate in relevant staff training programmes and carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the School's Health and Safety Policy.
  • You'll perform any additional duties related to the work of the section appropriate to the post, as and when required.
