Eastfield Primary School in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced cleaner to join our friendly team. This part-time role (15 hours per week during term time) requires reliability, high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will clean allocated areas, remove waste, follow health and safety procedures, and participate in training as directed by the Caretaker.

Position: Cleaner
Contract: Part-time - 15 hrs per week (3:20pm to 6:20pm Monday to Friday / term time only
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: Grade 2 / Pay Point 2-3, £25,614 - £26,016 (Actual salary £8,934 - £9,069)

The Role

We are looking to appoint an experienced cleaner, to join our friendly team. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to a very high standard.

Experience of working / cleaning in a school environment would be an advantage and a good knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is required.

You will:

• Clean allocated areas thoroughly to the required standard
• Remove waste safely and replenish essential supplies
• Undertaking training in use of methods, materials and equipment, as instigated by the Caretaker.
• Working safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment, being mindful of hazards to other staff and pupils.
• Compliance with the Health & Safety practices of the School.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including appropriate protective equipment Work collaboratively as part of a team
