Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school site in Honley, Huddersfield. You will work under the Cleaning Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role requires reliability, ability to work in a busy school environment, and teamwork to meet high cleanliness standards. Shifts include early morning and late afternoon, with a maximum of 25 hours per week per person.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the general cleaning of designated areas in accordance with the cleaning specification and under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Clean areas such as classrooms, corridors, offices, communal spaces, staff facilities and toilets, as required.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are handled, stored and used correctly in accordance with COSHH guidance.
• Follow all site health and safety and safeguarding procedures while working within a school environment.
• Report any hazards, damage or maintenance concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor.

Cleaner

Location: Honley, Huddersfield, HD9

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Morning shift: 6:00am-8:00am

Afternoon shift: 3:00pm-6:00pm

(Maximum of 25 hours per person, per week)

Dalkia UK is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school site in Honley, Huddersfield.

Working under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of the premises, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, can work reliably as part of a team and is comfortable working within a busy school environment.

Job Purpose
