Job summary

Dalkia UK is recruiting a reliable Cleaner for a school site in Fazakerley, Liverpool. The role covers general cleaning duties under the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Working 3pm–6pm, Monday to Friday, for 15 hours per week on a 6‑month contract, you’ll contribute to high standards of hygiene and compliance with COSHH and safety procedures. Flexible, team‑focused applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the general cleaning of designated areas in accordance with the cleaning specification and under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Clean areas such as classrooms, corridors, offices, communal spaces, staff facilities and toilets, as required.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are handled, stored and used correctly in accordance with COSHH guidance.
• Follow all site health and safety and safeguarding procedures while working within a school environment.
• Report any hazards, damage or maintenance concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor.

Cleaner

Location: Fazakerley, Liverpool, L10

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week (6 months contract)

Shifts: Monday – Friday 3pm – 6pm

Dalkia UK is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school site in Fazakerley, Liverpool.

Working under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of the premises, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, can work reliably as part of a team and is comfortable working within a busy school environment.

Job Purpose
