Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a full-time cleaner based in Hayes, West London. Role involves standard building cleaning tasks with a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm).

Training (including BICS) will be provided. DBS clearance is required, and the role offers a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing support from the team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.

• Previous experience as a cleaner or similar role.
• Experience in using cleaning equipment.
• COSHH training (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpeted areas of the building.

• Collect and remove rubbish to disposal points.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely.
• Work in a safe manner for occupants.
• Display signage for health and safety during cleaning.
• Report defects or safety issues to the caretaker.
• Remain security conscious and report suspicious incidents to the caretaker.

Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a full time cleaner to join our team based in Hayes, West London

Hours of work

• Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm OR 8am-5pm (40 hour week contract)

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpeted areas of the building
• Mop and buff vinyl and /or hard floor areas of the building
• Clean toilet areas of the building
• Polish glass and brass work in the building
• Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points
• Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties
• Work in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the building
• Display appropriate signage to ensure that occupants of the building are aware on any circumstances that may affect their health and safety whilst cleaning operations are taking place.
• Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the caretaker with minimum delay
• Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations to the caretaker
