Dalkia UK is seeking a full-time cleaner for our Hayes, West London site. The role is a 40-hour week, with shifts 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and requires DBS clearance.

Responsibilities include carpet and floor cleaning, toilet areas, polishing glass/brass, rubbish disposal, and safe handling of cleaning materials. Training (BICS) will be provided, and a strong emphasis on health and safety is required.

Competenze

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work.
• Flexible approach to working as part of a team.
• Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role.
• Experience in the use of cleaning equipment.
• COSHH training (Desirable).
• You will be required to get a successful DBS Clearance.

Mansioni

• Vacuum carpeted areas of the building.
• Mop and buff vinyl and/or hard floor areas of the building.
• Clean toilet areas of the building.

• Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points.
• Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of duties.
• Work in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the building.
• Display appropriate signage to ensure occupants are aware of health and safety during cleaning operations.
• Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the caretaker with minimum delay.
• Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents to the caretaker.

Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a full time cleaner to join our team based in Hayes, West London

Hours of work

• Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm OR 8am-5pm (40 hour week contract)

• Mop and buff vinyl and /or hard floor areas of the building
• Clean toilet areas of the building
